Reason for sampling:
To determine the presence and/or condition of asbestos in a structure or to obtain a building demolition or a municipality building permit.
Method:
Visual inspection of all accessible areas and sampling of air or bulk material is performed by a NYS Licensed Asbestos Building Inspector to verify suspected asbestos containing material.
Results:
Report indicating whether or not the structure contains asbestos material, the amount, a description of its condition and location. Recommendations for repair or removal are also included.
