ENVIRO TESTING has been actively involved in soil gas remediation since 1985. Over one thousand soil gas remediation systems have been successfully assessed, designed and installed in a wide variety of buildings including residential, commercial, industrial, churches and schools.
Reason for mitigation:
To reduce the level of dangerous soil gas vapors entering a structure to below EPA/ NYS DEC recommended levels.
Method:
Various methods are available and range from reduction of negative pressures, simple sealing of wall/floor cracks, crawl space venting, sub-slab depressurization, block wall depressurization and air/heat exchangers.
Results:
Sub slab communication testing is performed after installation of the sub slab vent system to guarantee negative pressures exist below the entire structure.
